"content": "On a related note: the plural of the word octopus. It's a Greek word so it can't be *\"octopi,\"* that would be applying Latin grammar.\n\nSome suggest *\"octopodes\"* but my issue with that is it's just plural for a completely different word, *\"octopod(e),\"* which is a synonym for octopus. Similarly to how the plural of hexapod is hexapods.\n\nSo I'll just keep saying octopuses, I guess.",
