It's not pretending.
Even if using a system that allows for block construction, the vast majority of individuals will still use the defaults. Which is still centralization.
It is a fact that I'm individuals mine on solo pools, find blocks, and get the rewards.
Feel free to disagree with how the blocks are constructed and use an alternative.
But it is REAL solo mining. It is not fantasy.
