Currently using Phoenix as my "main" LN wallet. I haven't had any channels close luckily and I have 4 open because I spent too much time fiddling and learning when I could have just made one big one originally. They've been open for a good 6 months+.
You get a 12 word recovery phrase that if the channels do close I believe you can use those words to access the on chain address. I however have no done this so... take that as you will.
I've heard good things about Breez as well I just haven't tried it. I'm sure others have better info than me. I like you am still absent my own personal LN node.
