I was very happy that the Dietz & Watson #bratwurst was on sale the other day, because it's become almost impossible to find real German-style bratwurst in America, outside of an Aldi. Most bratwurst in America is the style developed in the Upper Midwest, particularly in Wisconsin, as epitomized by the Johnsonville company.
Don't get me wrong, I love American bratwurst, too, but it's very different to the German bratwurst I grew up with in a #German family, in NYC. #food #cooking
