I've been waiting 20yrs for fuel cell vehicles because it's a serious alternative to EV's which shift consumption of fossil fuels out of towns where they can't rely on renewable energy sources.
Plus in the UK, it's estimated that some 40-50% of housing stock is simply unsuitable for home charging of EV's due to narrow streets, a lack of off road parking and overcrowded roads with not enough parking for all of the homes to begin with.
