Finally 9 years after VW were found to have rigged emissions tests, the former CEO, Martin Winterkorn is going on trial. He’d dodged it since 2019 when he was first indicted by German prosecutors and then claimed ill health in 2021. But justice has caught up with the 77 year old who faces 10 years in prison.
This should focus the minds of those who rigged the safety results of #Grenfell cladding.
