Most of the time, they were horrible. Who else remembers playing E.T. on the Atari 2600?
But sometimes, they were great. Robocop on DOS was pretty awesome.
Nowadays, we're seeing the opposite. Movies and TV shows are becoming video game tie-ins. Most of the time, they suck. For example, Borderlands.
However, the Fallout TV series is amazing.
