As an aside, folks who have spent time dealing with monitors will see a familiar pattern emerging. If you've ever needed to get a screen that reduces eye fatigue, you'll know that _resolution_ is a largely meaningless number, and what you actually care about is Pixels Per Inch (or PPI). AVC is essentially this, but stated a different way: whereas PPI says 'how many pixels make up a fixed unit', AVC says 'how large is each pixel'. 10/n
