Satoshi undermines block 0 on a difficulty 1 CPU and incorporates into the Genesis Block hexadecimal code base the headline of that day’s Times “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on the brink of second bailout for banks”. The bank bailout plan ‘cause of the subprime mortgage crisis in the TGFC.
Since that day, the network has grown dramatically. Now, millions of people all over earth use Bitcoin. And while it’s great to hear about other countries like El Salvador embracing Bitcoin, I can’t help but wish my own country 🇳🇱 was embracing Bitcoin too.
