So, I've been working my way through The Expanse by checking the DVDs out from the local library. The first season played just fine on my computer, but I ran into issues with the first disc of the second season, so I drug out my PS2, hoping maybe it would have better luck. It did, thankfully, but is still running into some problems.

I've managed to largely get through the episodes despite the glitches — they seem to land in different parts of the episodes between the individual episode playback, and the play all playback, thankfully. Except the last scene of Paradigm Shift. (Those of you who've watched the series will know why that scene was kinda a shitty one for the disc to fail on for both playback options. I looked it up, and thankfully they reuse the footage in the next episode, so I didn't totally miss out, but it sucked.)

I just emailed the library to let them know I've run into issues trying to watch the discs, and asked if I need to do anything when I bring them back so they can check them over before putting them back into circulation. Hopefully they're quick about replying to emails at my local branch, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's something as simple as talking to a librarian when I return it after I (attempt to) watch the third and fourth discs.
