A few days ago somebody asked what could be a proper nostr terminology and although renote is funny, I think "reposts" should be called boost.
In nostr, likes do not boost notes because there's no algorithm to take notice what people like or not. Renotes are what actually boost notes visibility.
Big bummer boost is widely understood at like and it would definitely be too confusing to even attempt changing that.
