This morning's reading speaks about the importance of poetry in spiritual growth.
"[T]hose who wish to know better should cultivate the poet in themselves."
Having written a poem a day every day for the last 85 weeks, I can see the point.
I definitely see differently, think differently, now, 595 poems later.
Am I any smarter? Any wiser?
Do I know better?
Perhaps.
But I'm still a work in progress.
