The fingerlakes1 article didn't link to it, but there is an interesting summary on Cornell's website: https://pad.human.cornell.edu/state_projections/poptrends.cfm \n\nRandom interesting things...\n\n- the study covers all of NY state (including NYC)\n- A steep decline in population already occurred during the pandemic, and then leveled off. (I guess, based on people I know, that this was biased towards people leaving NYC.)\n- The school-age population is projected to be dropping steadily under all scenarios.",
