Jumping in to say that I have a Golf GTE PHEV. I bought a charging system for my old house, but I haven’t got one installed yet in my new house and use a three-pin plug charger.
Although it does have a combustion engine, I do use the electric an awful lot, and the three-pin is fine. It takes about 2-3 hours to charge from empty, and that can get me into Sheffield and back.
Most people don’t need a full charge of their BEV every night.
