Many promises made to Abraham do not seem to be fulfilled by Jews but fulfilled by Britain or USA.
Example Promise:
"And your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies" (Genesis 22:17)
Only British Empire or Americans have control over so many strategic maritime chokepoints, such as Suez Canal, Gibraltar, Strait of Hormuz, Falkland Islands, Panama Canal etc.
Control over these "gates" is seen as evidence of divine blessing & fulfillment of the promise.
