In case anyone is curious, Preview.app (and QuickLook) on macOS Sonoma can still read old System 7 PICT files.
But it handles them all weird - the normal export options all disappear so you can’t use it to convert to PNG or something modern. The “Save to PDF” option here doesn’t work and gives you a blank, white PDF.
