Whereas Tokyo was the #COVID19 games, Paris will go down in history as the COVID normalisation games.
Tokyo = empty stadiums. Paris = athletes with active COVID no longer isolating, instead getting medals. The message being, what's the big deal, don't make such a fuss.
But many of us with #LongCOVID know through our own painful experience, trying to push through this illness with physical efforts may well be one of the root causes that turned it into a chronical illness. Time will tell.
