Having said that, I can highly recommend Scaler 3. Fantastic update. Great for sketching out ideas, and it can even load vst/au plugins natively now if you don't feel inspired by the built-in sounds. When you have taken the ideas from nothing to something you can easily pipe the midi out to different channels in your DAW and continue from there.
