raid5/6 is still buggy.
raid1cN and raid10 have been fine for a decade at least.

Because the setup is wrong and provides no integrity.
Unless of course each underlying drive uses dm-integrity and one made an LVM Raid array out of that. Then that should be fine. But it'll also perform significantly worse than either btrfs or zfs.
