It just so happened that a fan of fics, went to the extraordinary expense and trouble of printing a snapshot of the largest archive of such texts on the highest quality acid free paper, biding it all in nearly 1000 volumes and burying it in a stone vault in the desert.
Of course after The Pulse, no digital texts remained ... and much that was above the surface burned, or was destroyed by the Purity Patrols.
So it really is all that is left of this time.
