Debt slavery, debt slavery,
Oh how I love thee.
Work hard, peasantry!
How else will you get stuff for free!?
Paid for by yours truly!
Yes bow down in wonderment before me.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
As a matter of fact,
He is providing a part of our service.
You need him, yes, of this you can be certain!
He keeps your money stable,
Your air intact.
Commodity money? Bah, that's worthless.

Pay your bills, you owe them, it's true.
Your ancestors consent for you.
So pay the debt, slave, pay it down,
So that our creditors won't start to frown.
But if you need another year,
We are forgiving, see this here:
We will back that debt with faith and credit.
We promise your children won't regret it,
This decision you made on their behalf
To cut the future down by half.
