I checked all my old versions on MacOS:
172M 3.6
189M 3.7
230M 3.8
228M 3.9
249M 3.10
327M 3.11
303M 3.12
3.12 is the first edition that slimmed down a bit.
66M of that 303M is documentation, and 192M of that is the Python executable itself. libcrypto is the largest other library and it's only 8M, the rest are tiny.
