Just got a well-deserved humbling when I (a stroke survivor) got mouthy about Fetterman using his stroke as an excuse for his right-wing heel turn. Got some important dots connected: If the damage to my brain had happened to my pre-frontal cortex, it would have damaged my capacity for empathy and compassion and rational thought.
I already knew that I'm lucky to be alive and that it's a miracle that I wasn't disabled. Turns out I dodged a third bullet and didn't turn into a MAGA shitbag.
