It's early July, which means I'm engaging with one of my favorite biannual rituals: donating to the SF Public Library for all the books I borrowed/read in the first half of the year.
I'm fortunate/privileged to be able to buy all the books I read, but I prefer to borrow them from the library and support this vital resource for all. so I choose to give back by donating their value.

1) to the library directly, which involves this pesky form

2) to the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library with far fewer hoops
