i thought perhaps what i was trying to get across was universal, i.e. outside any particular political creed.
i do not share the view that communism is a kind of tyrrany or despotism. myself, i am certainly committed to the principles of equality, freedom, and democracy.
but i have long left behind what i feel to be the trickery that is private property. i do not think capitalist ‘democracies’ are actually what they claim to be at all.
look at my own country, australia. our masters are the fossil fuel and mining corporations. we recently just had an energy crisis over on the eastern coast because we decided it was somehow more logical to virtually gift all our natural gas resources to multinational corporations. all of it. so much so we had nothing left to generate any power or heating for our own people.
