The thing is, he's wrong. He's almost certainly got an undiagnosed hidden disability that his kids inherited. They suspect it of one of the kids, and it's pretty clear which parent it's from.
The Nazis would have put them into camps.
But that's not something he sees. And that's how these things happen.
