Are you more the engineer type, and he's more of a practical type who sticks with one thing until it's done?
My husband is an ENTP personality and he loves efficiency and has a hard time when things are not efficient, and invents things to create systems instead if ysibf brute force, and has been misunderstood because of it. He can totally stick to out if it is something that actually matters, but if there's a system for it, or it doesn't matter, then why do it himself?
I'm not sure I'd this resonates with you, but I believe everyone, especially including you, and stick it out, if it's focused on the right things!!
Find your passion, not your dads, and he may not get it, but you'll know you can do it easily! 🙂
