"content": "The fall of Mandriva gave me the opportunity to be upset with SUSE as a company. It is something that was true then and remains true now. SUSE is slow to act.\n\nSUSE had already established itself on the enterprise market. There were already ongoing discussions of having SUSE Linux bundled with PCs. And those talks continued throughout the success of Mandrake, and continued still when people were desperately looking for an alternative away from the eventual failing Mandrivia. SUSE would eventually make into stores on prebuild desktops, but they waited so long that by the time they did, most folks (home users) had an \"ick\" when they thought of Linux.\n\nI often think how different things would have been if SUSE was not so damn slow to act.",
