Want to #asknostr if anyone has any strong opinions on their own lnd/bitcoin setup. Should I stick with Umbrel and update to 1.0+ on their custom OS, or should I try start9, or is there another service that bundles those applications? I previously had Umbrel 0.5.4 on an Ubuntu desktop I run.
From what I can tell, Umbrel still has the most extensive library, but its also the hardest to mod. I also liked having the desktop functionality so I could run other non-umbrel stuff (why I never updated to their 1.0+ custom OS). Anyone have any issues running their node within a VM (or if it can be done with a single docker container)?
Don't want to redo this twice, so i want to have a good think before I start.
