I’m being reminded by my daughter of the emotional rollercoaster that is dating in your early twenties. She’s either heartbroken or on top of the world. It’s hard to witness the heartbreak. I keep telling her that lots of men become more predictable after 30, but she’s down on the dudes at the moment (and all I’ve got is mom advice). I think part of the issue is she’s very smart (earned her BS at 20) and she’s very pretty. Some guys see the pretty, and soon feel threatened by the smart.
