The A35 and A55 are VERY average in every way and beyond most people's means, at least in this country where the average wage is €1000 per month.
To spend half your wage on a phone is suicide.
That's why I say €400 would be the sweet spot for Apple (I use them because they are the only competition) and people WOULD be willing to put out for that because 5 years OS updates, best cameras in that segment, iOS with iMessage, Memoji, tons of accessories, magsafe etc
