Winding down my fedi usage due to a multitude of reasons, but still wanting to keep a presence around these parts, so will likely be moving over here soon if we shut down our GoToSocial instance.

Self-hosting is cool and all, but I feel like the 800MB of RAM its now chewing through could be better spent elsewhere (and this in not a failure of GoToSocial; its just the way fedi software goes once it federates to a lot of other instances).

Not entirely sure how I'm going to use fedi these days. I will not be crossposting from Bluesky anymore, so I encourage you to follow @ducky.ws@bsky.bridg.gy (remember to follow @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy to to interact) to keep up with me properly. And in any case, this account will boost from there anyways.
