I understand (and mostly disagree with) trading privacy for features, but control?
Govt made telcos give them backdoor access. That access was used by bad actors.
Telsa has remote control of your vehicle. What if the govt wants them to provide access (or if they already do)? What if that access is compromised too? Why create the risk in the first place? Why not design it so that it's not possible without authorization that cant be overridden by Tesla themselves?
