Regarding Dobbs and the female vote:
When people ask about my name, I always say it's a family name because the Mignonette was my great-great-grandmother's favorite flower.
What I usually don't say is that one of the Mignons I'm named after died in childbirth.
Childbirth has always been dangerous, but Dobbs has made it worse.
