I swear I could be talked into selling my kid some days …
I HATE hate hate hate the sound of whistling, with one or two astounding exceptions in the case of actual musicians who can hit exact and very clear tones. Otherwise it’s like off-key fingernails on a blackboard to me.
My kid learned to whistle around 3 years of age AND HAS NEVER STOPPED. WANDERS AROUND DOING IT CONSTANTLY. Kid is now 11.
Kid also likes to stim by making repeated, nonsensical, high-pitched noises of ALL sorts.
