This is a great piece of writing.
However, there is one shortcoming: Generative #AI is useful for performing ”flooding the zone” tactics of election interference at a way lower level of sophistication than it is for defending against it.
We dont have sufficiently advanced models, they are not cheap enough & can’t be deployed in time.
The price / performance ratio the attacker gets is orders of magnitude greater than the defender’s.
This one’s on us people! 💁♂️
