I find myself constantly battling between big picture and detail oriented thinking.
I worry about small things too much, like shifting a logo two pixels to get it just right or getting upset because I stained my jeans.
Then, I zoom way out and think “Does it really matter? We are on a floating rock in space and an asteroid can wipe us out in a fraction of a second… why worry about the details?”
But I do.
I don’t have an answer other than just yo-yoing between those mindsets and trying to find a balance because I know going too far one way or the other is extreme and destructive long-term.
Kind of like politics, religion, economics, etc. Find a balance.
