mrs. smith v.fond of Ikea and for the most part it is genius. i can't recall ever having a missing part, or even more annoyingly, a part left over.
the latter known as the "small screw syndrome". you put something together and it works perfectly, but you have a single screw left over. do not try to fit this screw, it will render whatever you built useless and broken. just throw it away. (source: Douglas Adams, i believe...)
