Well, you say that, but you're a payer, like me. You either pay with money or expertise/skilled-effort.
Everyone who doesn't want to pay relies on our charity, and they won't tend to get anything we don't want for ourselves or that we provide only for ourselves (and our frens).
The State serves the people who don't want to -- or can't afford to -- pay, best.
