I’ve boosted several posts and stories today about Google shuttering their goo.gl URL shortener service in August (I don’t think I ever used it, but I know it’s been used widely).
Now, I don’t think this automatically transgresses their original company motto (Don’t Be Evil), but I think it transgresses Will Wheaton’s mantra:
Don’t be a dick.
This is a dick move, Google.
