I still find the concept of #money absurd. In my opinion, money in its current form is creating more problems than it solves. But it also patches over the problem of humans inherently mistrusting each other due to assuming malicious intent (not unreasonable — evil is in humanity's nature, as I learned in my existence in this world).

A perfectly efficient world would not have scarcity that is currently created by hoarders of resources and money. But humans will probably not achieve that any time soon. Any system that tried collapsed because of evil intent — either from inside, due to bad or outright malicious planning, or outside, due to jealousy and greed.

That's not to say we shouldn't attempt to build such a world. But it's going to be a long journey. Will I live long enough to see such a possibility unfold?
