I'm coming out: I'm #linux curious.
Well, currently dual-boot with Windows 10 in particular, as I've been doing just fine with Win10 on my current machine. Microsoft is trying to shame me into updating by calling my hardware inadequate for Win11 and canceling security updates on 10.
I also am happy to avoid GenAI pollution on my operating system.
Advice? Tips? Warnings? Leaning toward Ubuntu or Mint, but that's more name recognition than research.
Edit: I'm a gamer / #gamedev, too.
