My local vets (used to be great) has been bought out by Linnaeus.
When Cat was taken ill - turned out to be lymphoma - I felt they tried to put me under enormous pressure to try all sorts of heroic (and vastly expensive) chemotherapy.
I had to really stick to my guns: "No, she hates the vet, she hates injections, her quality of life matters more than eking out a few extra months by terrifying her with twice weekly injections and transfusions. Palliative care only, then PTS."
I'm strongly thinking of changing to one of the few independent vets left in the area.
