Interesting article on Greedflation, and I think more interesting is that because neoliberal ideas about the economy absolutely captured the mainstream media it has been incredibly easy for them to get away with doing this.
When govt spending went up in response to covid economist’s employed by corporations and right wing organisations said inflation would go up massively, so when it didn’t naturally they just increased prices (and profits) to match their models
