More importantly, it supports BIP-353 addresses. It's not quite the same as full NWC support, but you'll both get and sent sats right through your own custodied wallet. The UI could be more straightforward for how to enable it (and you do need an open channel before you can generate an address), but it's not too bad if you can ask AI a few questions. Settings -> Experimental Features -> Claim my address. Also a little snag; by default it does only generate a taproot address for on chain funding; if you, like me, use some of those silly "get paid in bitcoin to play mobile games" apps such as Ember, you likely need to enable a legacy address as most of them don't yet support taproot addresses.
