Is there something I'm missing about doing cold pulls on direct drives? I can _never_ feed filament in manually, even if I unscrew the idler arm on the extruder _completely_: it just doesn't manually feed to the nozzle.
No, the extruder is fine: if I load using Klipper, it extrudes without issue.
