What happened under the Nazis was horrible. I sympathize with the Jews wanting to get out of there and live in peace. But that doesn't change the fact they displaced a couple million people.
Perhaps that's why they don't like them? Jewish people were living in peace in that region prior to 1948, so saying they don't like them because they're Jewish doesn't work.
