Starmer & Reeves have repeatedly & explicitly ruled out rejoining the EU, the single market or the European customs union: these are the key features of Tory Hard Brexit.
If they want the economic benefits of better access to European trade, they need to remove customs barriers (CU) & regulatory barriers (SM). This would result in a Soft Brexit.
Labour wants Tory Hard Brexit but somehow expects to cherry-pick EU benefits ( as Johnson wanted).
