Some people like Altra. So I tried some, nah, too stiff for me and too much cushion.
On sneakers were featured as having good shock absorption but not too narrow. Nah, too stiff all over, it made my feet hurt within 3 minutes and I had to limp back.
This European brand Feelgrounds has good reviews, but I ordered 1/2 size bigger as suggested, it was just too big and mainly because the shoe itself is just too wide. I needed snug but wide toe box. It had to have good balance.

I've been wearing tolos barefoot shoes for about a year now. Recent 2 months, it just felt too thin and the lack of shock absorption makes me not want to walk at all. I mean at all.
Even though I like how it fits like an extra layer of skin. The flexibility and wide toe box are so necessary.

So, I've been looking high and low for a replacement. I didn't want to get another pair of tolos for quite a few reasons. The lack of traction in the outer sole is a huge concern, and also the first concern I had the moment I had them on.
