It's like someone could see into my depths without my permission, and I also didn't want to be that intimate with another person by looking into THEIR eyes. I still find it... Intrusive & weirdly violating. It wasn't about being judged; *I* have always been quite ok with who I am. It was more that most people seemed so... Strange/alien to me.
